Commverge Call Manager Service

The Commverge Call Manager service lets you own any UK number, from any area code and have all incoming calls made to that number forwarded to a destination of your choice - with full inbound call statistics for that number available at any time online.

What numbers are available?

We can provide you with a virtual number from any of the 650 UK area codes. We then forward calls made to your virtual number to a destination of your choice. If you ever move offices, or you simply want to change its destination you can do so at any time, at no charge using our online control panel.

How do I access my Inbound Call Reports?

You will also have 24 hour access to your inbound call statistics via our web based control panel. You can then drill down and have full monthly, weekly or daily breakdown of calls received to your numbers. If you want to gather data for your own reports simply download the displayed information in a CSV format for use in Microsoft Excel or other programmes.

Why use an 01x number?

Unlike 0870, 0845 and other 08x numbers, people calling you pay only their standard local or national rate to contact you. With more and more people now having call tariffs that provide inclusive minutes, or free-calls to normal 01x numbers they are seen as much more preferable contact numbers.

People are now actively avoiding companies that utilise 0870 numbers as their main contact number. Such examples of the dislike of these numbers is shown at the Say No to 0870 website, and also Martin Lewis is leading a massive campaign to bring awareness of just how expensive and unnecessary these numbers are.

What if I already have an 01x number I want to use?

If you already have an 01x number that you want to keep because you’re moving office, then we can help. We can port any BT number into our system so that you can continue to use that number even if you move to a completely new area - giving you the flexibility associated with 0870 numbers, with the benefit of using a normal 01x number.
